FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Dallas, TX– Essential Formulas Incorporated’s line of supplements recently received vegetarian or vegan certification from the American Vegetarian Association, the recognized standard of vegetarian assurance.
According to the U.S. Statistical Information and Demographics 7.3 million Americans consider themselves vegetarian. The AVA was created to promote the interests and concerns of individuals and organizations involved in the preservation, propagation, and distribution of vegetarian ideas and products. The AVA certification program requires applicants to submit the product, package and complete list of ingredients for stringent review. Its logo proclaims goodness, quality, wholesomeness, and manufacturing practices in strict adherence to the rigid standards of the AVA vegetarian and vegan guidelines.
Dr. Ohhira’s Essential Living Oils and the Kampuku Beauty Bar was AVA Certified Vegan while Dr. Ohhira’s Probiotics original and professional formulas and Dr. Ohhira’s Propolis PLUS received AVA Certified Vegetarian status.
“We are pleased that our products received certification through the American Vegetarian Association,” said William Schoor, EFI’s executive vice president. “We believe in ingredient disclosure and educating the consumer so they can make informed choices concerning their health.”
